Job summary

Vision Life Llc is seeking caregivers to provide supportive living services for adults with developmental, mental, and behavioral disabilities in their homes. You will help clients reach daily goals, assist with daily living skills, and monitor medications while accompanying them to medical appointments.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to reach daily goals and support needs.

• Help with daily living skills like cooking, housekeeping, shopping, money management, and transportation.
• Support independence by aiding in day-to-day tasks.
• Monitor medications and accompany to medical appointments.
• Assist with hygiene as needed.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with families and agencies.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings.

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, we provide supportive living support services to adults with developmental, mental, and behavioral disabilities in their homes.

Your General Duties:

• Assist clients to reach their daily goals and provide support based on their needs.
• Be able to remain calm and deescalatea situation when behavioral issues occur.
• Help with all independent living skills, such as cooking healthy meals, household tasks, grocery and necessity shopping, money management, and public transportation.
• Ensure the highest level of independence for the people you support by assisting in day-to-day tasks.
• Monitor medication and accompany the people you support to medical appointments.
• Assist with hygiene when necessary.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with our individuals’ families and third‑party agencies.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings.
