Job summary

Pioneer Human Services in Seattle seeks a Supportive Housing Specialist to assist individuals in achieving stable housing and community integration. You will coordinate services across housing, health, and social supports, working with program partners and landlords to remove barriers to housing access.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, strengths-based service delivery and active client engagement to promote independence and stability in the community.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges.
• Must obtain and maintain the Agency Affiliated Counselor credential within 7 days of employment.
• Certified Peer Counselor credential through WA DOH.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, education, support, and skill-building for housing stability and community integration.
• Deliver SAMHSA-based services supporting the fidelity model for Supportive Housing.
• Operate from a person-centered, trauma-informed perspective with participant choice.
• Maintain data systems and documentation per state and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with landlords, housing programs, and community agencies to expand housing options.

Education

AA degree in related field

2 years experience in behavioral health
