Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is seeking an Administrator of Supported Employment to lead our Adult Services Program. The role oversees plan implementation, job development, and supervision of Employment Specialists, driving community connections and self-determination for individuals.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Human Services or related field, 2 years of relevant experience, supervisory experience, and NYS driving license. Certifications (First Aid, CPR, BIPPM) are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field is required.
• 2 years of related experience with people with developmental disabilities expected.
• 1 year in Supported Employment preferred; knowledge of ACESS-VR, OPWDD, COB services.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred; leadership skills encouraged.
• First Aid, CPR and BIPPM certifications are required.
• Must have NYS Driving License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Plan implementation and job development for participants.
• Develop community business connections and supervise staff.
• Oversee Life Plans and action plans to improve self-determination.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and complete program surveys.
• Deliver and document services within the assigned group.
• Promote independence and community inclusion while respecting choices.
