Job summary

Priory Daffodil House in Pontypridd, South Wales, is seeking Support Workers to join our residential service. We provide care and support to adults aged 18–65 on the autistic spectrum, who may also have complex needs, with a focus on dignity and enrichment.

You will work either nights or days as part of a compassionate team, assisting with assessment and delivery of individual care plans, and taking part in activities that promote wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Caring and respectful approach to supporting others.
• Ability to work flexibly and think innovatively.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to upholding professional standards, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in care or support work is desirable but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of individual care plans.
• undertake routine tasks and activities to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
