Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Support Worker for our Supported Living Service Pump Piece in Leominster.

About the role

1. As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) and mild learning disabilities.
2. The role may include manual handling, medication administration, personal care, food preparation, household tasks, supporting individuals to keep in contact with family and friends, accessing the community, and attending appointments.
3. We provide support for daily living skills and help support socialisation.
4. We recognise each person as an individual and provide a person-centred, tailored service to meet their needs.
5. The role aims to promote the individual's independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of support.
6. We offer people with PMLD a safe and secure home where they can live independently with the support they need.

Shifts

Various shifts available, including alternate weekends.

Qualifications and experience

Ideally, the successful candidate will have a qualification in health and social care (not essential) or experience in supported living settings or with individuals with PMLD.
