Position Summary

The Support Team Analyst provides analytical, reporting, data management, and process-improvement support for store-level signing, print shop operations, inventory-related workflows, and cross-functional departmental initiatives. This role is responsible for improving the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of recurring reporting, store list management, project tracking, and operational processes while proactively identifying opportunities to reduce manual work, improve visibility, support cost savings, and enable continued department growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting, Data Management, and Analyst Support
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting tools, trackers, and recurring data files that support store-level signing, traiting, inventory visibility, shipping, remodel activity, special projects, compliance tracking, supplier feedback, and client-facing metrics.
  • Manage recurring store list creation, maintenance, validation, and updates for department programs, brand initiatives, and signing support needs.
  • Perform data validation, report generation, pivot table analysis, file cleanup, and ad hoc analysis to support operational decision-making and improve reporting consistency.
  • Provide training and support to team members on effective Excel usage, spreadsheet structure, pivot tables, shared reporting tools, and consistent file maintenance practices.
  • Create and enhance shared trackers that reduce manual workload, improve accountability, and provide greater visibility into active workstreams, project volume, timelines, and follow-up needs.
Process Improvement and Workflow Optimization
  • Assess existing workflows to identify manual steps, duplicate work, data gaps, recurring errors, and opportunities for automation or standardization.
  • Design scalable templates, formulas, trackers, and reporting structures that improve accuracy, reduce rework, and enable the team to manage increasing volume more efficiently.
  • Partner with team members to document repeatable processes, clarify ownership, and establish sustainable workflows that support future department growth.
  • Leverage operational data to recommend process improvements that save time, reduce cost, improve turnaround times, and strengthen overall execution quality.
  • Support process enhancements such as automated data functionality, improved kitting or overs calculations, cleaner initiative templates, and more efficient project intake and tracking methods.
Inventory Management Partnership
  • Work closely with the Inventory Specialist to improve reporting, inventory visibility, reprint planning, and inventory management processes tied to print shop and department support needs.
  • Partner on the cleanup and standardization of inventory-related data, including item reporting, inventory thresholds, usage patterns, order history, and recurring reprint needs.
  • Support the development of automated or semi-automated reporting processes that identify when inventory items are approaching reprint need based on agreed-upon client-provided criteria.
  • Create and maintain structured reporting that enables proactive decision-making, reduces last-minute requests, and improves alignment between inventory levels, client needs, and print production planning.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory, minimize outdated materials, and support more accurate forecasting for frequently used print items.
Print Shop Process Streamlining and Reprint Automation
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Specialist, Print Shop, and department stakeholders to automate and streamline the reprint process from inventory identification through production planning.
  • Improve POD and print-related reporting to support clearer intake, production visibility, reprint tracking, and follow-through.
  • Develop reporting logic to determine which inventory items should be grouped for bulk printing based on client-provided criteria, usage trends, order frequency, inventory levels, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Recommend bulk print opportunities that reduce labor, setup time, rush requests, and per-unit cost while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness to client needs.
  • Support the transition from reactive reprint requests to a proactive, data-driven print planning process that improves service levels and supports department scalability.
Cross-Functional Support and Department Growth
  • Support cross-functional project requests through structured task tracking, reporting, follow-up, and data analysis.
  • Assist with remodel program support, business development reporting, brand-related store list projects, compliance tracking, special projects, vendor surveys, and supplier analysis.
  • Provide analytical support that enables the department to absorb new work, improve execution consistency, and operate with stronger visibility into capacity, project volume, and recurring operational needs.
  • Contribute to department growth by creating tools and workflows that can be maintained, repeated, and expanded as program complexity increases.
  • Serve as a resource for improving data discipline, reporting accuracy, and operational consistency across the support team.
Success Measures

Required Qualifications

MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent must manage stress appropriately; make decisions under pressure; handle multiple priorities, work alone; work in areas that are confined and/or crowded.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: The incumbent will never be exposed to toxins, chemicals, detergents, extreme temperatures (30 degrees F – 115 degrees F), dust, fumes, moving mechanical parts, x-ray/electromagnetic energy, high-pitched noises, Communicable diseases, or gases. The incumbent will spend approximately 90% of their time indoors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: SEDENTARY WORK: Lifting 10 lbs. maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying articles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires stooping, kneeling, bending, manual dexterity, repetitive hand and arm coordination, finger dexterity, and visual acuity both far and near with depth perception. The incumbent will sit 75% of the time and stand/walk 25% of the time.
