Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking an EVS Support Staff to perform daily cleaning in assigned areas using approved chemicals and PPE. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to standard procedures.

The position is part-time (0.5 FTE) at 20 hours per week and onsite in Akron, Ohio. Responsibilities include cleaning high-touch surfaces, restrooms, stocking supplies, and following established policies.

Responsibilities

• Is responsible for the daily cleaning of assigned areas using accepted practices and procedures.
• Performs work duties in accordance with standard procedures and processes
• Duties include the daily cleaning of window ledges, doors handles & push bars, elevator buttons, furniture, trash cans, Purell stands, rails, ledges and other high touch surfaces specific to assigned area using approved chemicals and ensure proper PPE is worn.
• Duties include vacuuming and dusting of surfaces, sweeping and mopping of hard surface floors.
• Cleaning and stocking of supplies in non-patient restrooms
• Performs tasks efficiently
• Observes all safety procedures
• Other duties as required.
