Job summary

Big Bad Breakfast in Louisville is looking for a friendly support staff member to join our dining team as host, busser or food runner. You’ll create a welcoming atmosphere, help seat guests, and support the service team to keep the dining area clean and efficient.

Starting pay is $12–$14 per hour plus tips, with opportunities for advancement. We offer flexible scheduling and a training-focused environment to help your hospitality career grow.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The support staff (host, busser, food runner) is the first and last point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a clean, comfortable dining environment. This dual role combines greeting and seating guests with supporting the service team through table resets, cleaning, and maintaining the flow of the restaurant.

• Comfortable working in tight spaces with varying noise levels and temperatures.


• Physical ability to stand and walk throughout the duration of the shift, carry weights of up to 50 pounds, and navigate potential tripping hazards.
