As a Machine Room Support Specialist at the Utah Data Center, you will be part of a team responsible for well over 100k square feet of IT Equipment Space (ITES). You will assist in maintaining full control of those rooms, including access lists, safety conditions, security practices and more, all in accordance with NSA/CSS Data Center Policies. You will review and approve machine room access requests daily, ensuring strict compliance with Agency ITES policies and procedures. You will audit ITES access logs for anomalies, in addition to supporting activities that may have resulted as an after-hours service request. You will conduct daily inspections and monitor room cleanliness, safety, and security. You will provide direct support for capability deployments into ITES you are responsible for. You will have responsibility to review and approve power, space, and cooling permits and contribute to planning activities for future capability deployments. Perform tasks associated with the activities (i.e., access control, space assignment) of specific machine rooms in accordance with Agency policy and documented standards. Update access lists and rosters and control entry within the room or rooms. Perform routine checks of work performed and report maintenance problems. Conduct room inspections and monitor room cleanliness. Support Specialists work in a myriad of offices.

Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Salary Range: $35,749 - $116,362 (Entry/Developmental, Full Performance, Senior) Salary range varies by location, work level, and relevant experience to the position. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with a basic 8hr/day work requirement between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m, depending on the core operating hours of the hiring organization.
