Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Support Specialists for Young Adults in downtown Pittsburgh, PA. Compensation is up to $20/hr as an independent contractor. Shift pattern is Monday–Friday 10a–7p, with occasional flexibility required.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year working with youth, and valid clearance including Act 33/34 & FBI, plus a valid driver's license and vehicle. Opportunities to grow professionally are available.

Qualifications

• Provide support to young adults transitioning out of the foster care system or who are experiencing unstable housing.
• Establish rapport with youth, evaluate their needs, address challenges and celebrate successes.
• Encourage program participation. May require transporting youth to appointments and activities as needed.

• Build trust, assess needs, and help coordinate transportation to appointments.
• Advocate for participants and document progress per program guidelines.

Delta-T Group's client has an urgent need for several Support Specialists for Young Adults in downtown Pittsburgh, PA.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Provide support to young adults transitioning out of the foster care system or who are experiencing unstable housing.

CLIENT'S HOURLY COMPENSATION RATE & AVAILABLE HOURS

• Up to $20/hr. compensation, depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
• Monday-Friday 10a-7p. May need occasional flexibility with schedule.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• High School diploma/GED
• At least one year of experience working with youth.
• Act 33/34 & FBI clearances
• Valid Driver's License, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance.
