Job summary

Lincoln Trail Elementary School is hiring a Support Services Teacher to provide targeted instructional and behavioral supports for students needing additional academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral interventions.

This full-time role begins in the 2026-2027 school year and collaborates with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to implement evidence-based interventions that promote student achievement and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS-1 certification is required.
  • Willing to be trained in crisis prevention and able to pass a physical ability test.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals and objectives.
  • Implement and monitor behavioral intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and problem-solving teams to support student needs.
  • Monitor progress on IEP goals and objectives.

Job Summary

Lincoln Trail Elementary School is currently hiring for a Support Services Teacher to provide targeted instructional and behavioral supports to students requiring additional academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral interventions. Please see the attached current 2025-2026 Salary Schedule (our existing 4-year collective bargaining agreement expired at the end of the 2025-2026 school year and we are currently negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 2026-2027 school year).
