Labcorp in Spokane, WA is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead the logistics team, supervise daily operations, optimize courier routes and schedules, and ensure staffing coverage aligns with workload while keeping costs in check. The role demands a High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years as a driver or courier with strong Microsoft Office skills.

You will coach staff, resolve client issues, and uphold Labcorp’s safety and service standards while working on site in Spokane.

• Supervise the day to day operations of the logistics team
• Manage the performance of all couriers using established performance metrics
• Implement and review courier routes and schedules to increase efficiencies
• Ensure department is properly staffed with the ability to cover all necessary routes
• Establish relationships with outside logistics vendors to obtain coverage when needed
• Generate and review daily/weekly reports and elevate any issues to leadership
• Ensure entire logistics staff is properly trained and any performance issues are addressed
• Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development
• Address and resolve both internal and external client issues
• Maintain and monitor department spend to ensure proper budget allocation
• Manage and maintain branch vehicles according to Corporate Fleet standards
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
• Responsible for administering and managing policies and procedures
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed

Job Overview

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and additional days and hours as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years or more experience as a driver/courier

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree
• 3 years or more experience as a medical courier
• 5 years or more lead or supervisor experience

• Basic understanding of managing costs and an overall budget
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within an organization

• Comfortable with handling lab specimens when needed
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License
• Must be at least 21 years’ old

Pay

Pay Range: $80,168.40 to $84,000.00 yearly. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
