The Support Representative II works closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to provide administrative support in a healthcare facility. Working under supervision, this role involves obtaining registration and financial data, registering patients, scheduling evaluations and follow-ups, interpreting charge information, and collecting payments. Responsibilities also include maintaining medical records, performing general office duties, and coordinating care with referrals and outside services.
Additional duties include pre-authorizing testing with insurance carriers, managing patient insurance information, assembling and maintaining records, and assisting with credentialing processes. The role requires the following:
