Job summary

Grand Rapids Community College seeks a Support Professional – Play and Learn Data Coordinator to help collect and analyze data for the Ready by Five grant. You will work with Play and Learn Coaches to produce monthly service and demographic data submissions and ensure data drives programming.

Join a collaborative team and contribute to program evaluation, reporting to the Education Play & Learning Community Coordinator.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create systems to collect raw data (demographics) and translate into usable reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of all data collected.
• Code and format demographic data to Ready by Five requirements.
• Verify and enter service data for Kent County Health Department format.
• Analyze data to inform program decisions and evaluations.
• Prepare End of Month data reports for PAL team.
• Support GRCC mission and participate in evaluation activities.

Support Professional – Play and Learn Data Coordinator

The Play and Learn Data Coordinator will work with the Play and Learn Coaches and Coordinator to help collect, analyze, summarize and report data required by the Ready by Five

Grant. The Data Coordinator will work with the Play and Learn Coordinator to produce the monthly service and demographic data submission for the project. The Play and Learn Data

Coordinator will work with the Play and Learn team to ensure data drives programming. INTERNAL: Only current APSS employees may apply. • Create systems to collect raw data (demographics of enrolled children) and translate it into a working document used to inform programming
• Maintain confidentiality of all data collected
• Code and format demographic data to align with Ready by Five requirements
• Verify, Enter and Code Service Data in the format required by Kent County Health Department
• Manage the integrity of the data by checking for errors, inconsistencies, discrepancies, and missing fields
• Create End of Month data report to share with PAL team
• Analyze data to inform decision making
• Generate quarterly demographic and service data reports to share with funders
• Supply Play and Learn Coordinator with information needed for program evaluation
• Analyze stakeholder feedback at least 2X/year
• Support the mission, vision, values and key strategies of GRCC
• Participate in goal setting and evaluation requirements as staff of GRCC
• Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by GRCC and Coordinator

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education

• Associate’s degree required or comparable combination of relevant education and data analysis experience, Bachelor degree preferred

Experience

• Experience working with software platforms designed to collect and analyze data
• 3 years’ experience with analyzing and interpreting data
• Prior experience working in grant funded programs preferred

Skills

• Knowledge and ability to interpret data and analyze.
