Job summary

CooperRiis Healing Community in Mill Spring, NC seeks a PRN Residential Support Staff to provide direct care and safety within a therapeutic healing setting.

The role covers day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts, demanding compassionate residents support, punctual documentation, and teamwork with on-site staff. Requires 21+ with driving record; prior residential care preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with a clear to acceptable driving record for insurance.
• Experience in residential community or transitional living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security of the facility during hourly rounds.
• Support residents in maintaining healthy sleep schedules.
• Complete bed checks and timely documentation.
• Assist in cleaning and organizing community spaces.
• Build rapport and provide accurate support to residents.
• Administer routine and as-needed medications in the med room.
• Problem-solve and act in crisis situations.
• Communicate needs to shift staff for additional support.

Schedule

• Mill Spring -Farm PRN - One on One Support Staff/ PRN as needed to cover shifts Days, Evening ,Overnights and weekend shifts

Location

Mill Spring, NC

Pay

Starting at $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security of the facility both inside and outside doing hourly rounds
• Support residents in maintaining healthy sleep schedules
• Completes bed checks as needed
• Completes timely documentation
• Assists in cleaning and organizing of community spaces
• General knowledge of resident’s goals, build rapport, and provide support
• Administration of routine and as needed medications for residents ,work in the med room
• Problem-solve and work in crisis situations
• Communicate to shift staff for support when help is needed

Qualifications

• Candidates need to be at least 21 years old with a clear to acceptable driving record to be on CooperRiis driver insurance , Administration medical training a plus.
• Previous experience working in a residential community or transitional living program preferred
