Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln in Mattoon, IL is hiring a Support Partner (ICU) to help with housekeeping, transport of patients, specimens and medications, and to support infection control standards. This full-time role requires a HS Diploma and offers a competitive hourly wage with weekend and holiday rotation.

You will work 7am–7:30pm in a patient-centered environment, collaborating with the care team to maintain a safe, clean, and healing setting for patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assists other care team members with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, feeding, transferring, ambulating patients
• Completes cleaning of common areas on unit, including desks, phones, soiled utility, pantries, conference rooms, staff and visitor bathrooms, and lounge areas
• Completes routine daily cleaning of occupied patient rooms and extensive discharge cleaning in alignment with infection control guidelines, policies and procedures
• Stocks appropriate supplies
• Supports relationship based care by providing compassionate, holistic care to patients, family, and co-workers and promoting a safe, caring, and healing environment
• Transports patients, specimens and supplies as requested

Support Partners perform housekeeping duties in alignment with infection control standards. They maintain a sanitary, well organized, positive environment for the patient, family, and patient care team. This position transports patients, specimens, and medications.
