Responsibilities

• Assists care team with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, transferring, ambulating patients).
• Cleans common areas on unit, including desks, phones, soiled utility, pantries, conference rooms, staff and visitor bathrooms, and lounge areas.
• Performs routine daily cleaning of occupied patient rooms and extensive discharge cleaning per infection control guidelines.
• Stocks supplies and supports relationship-based care by providing compassionate, holistic care to patients, families, and co-workers.
• Transports patients, specimens, and supplies as requested.

They maintain a sanitary, well organized, positive environment for the patient, family, and patient care team.
