Staffmark Group in Waynesboro, VA is hiring a Support Machine Operator to run lines, monitor quality, and contribute to safe, efficient production on a fast-paced shop floor. Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of manufacturing experience, and an internal support certification.

Responsibilities

• Safety -Performs all tasks in a safe manner, wearing required PPE and following all safety regulations.
• BBS participation.
• Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach.
• Meet productivity standards.
• Complete required documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues with quality or productivity related to the team or the machine.
• Make adjustments to machinery as needed.
• Suggest improvements to processes or procedures.
• Coordinate with lab personnel, Team Leader, and Sr. Team Leader for issues and improvements.
• Perform 6S and other housekeeping duties for a clean and safe work environment.
• Obtain and maintain Operator Certification.
• Train others as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
