Job summary

Jobtailor in North Carolina (Riegelwood) seeks a field-based Chemical Feed Specialist to perform routine testing at customer sites, manage inventory, and contribute to service reports.

You will interface with customers, adjust feed levels, deliver chemicals, troubleshoot equipment, and document results using Excel. A science degree and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Industry and customer literacy, or ability to quickly learn industry and Solenis technologies
• Drive for results and proactive approach to complex issues
• Fluency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing and monitoring at the customer site, including data entry
• Contribute to service report preparation
• Interface with customers to understand issues involving chemicals or equipment
• Manage customer product inventory, deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks
• Adjust chemical feed levels based on testing and monitoring
• Deliver chemicals and compile trial data at customer sites
• Alert the site manager to customer problems or opportunities and begin troubleshooting
• Conduct expanded process-variable testing to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
• Specify, set up, maintain and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment
• Work with site teams and customers to ensure optimal program performance
• Conduct lab testing, repair and install chemical feed equipment, enter data into Excel, control inventory and perform chemical transfers
• Maintain positive customer relationships with mill personnel
• Provide pre-sales technical expertise, technical input to bids and projects, product demonstrations and recommendations to sales teams and customers
