Job summary

FOCO, a global leader in licensed sports and entertainment merchandise, seeks a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Support Engineer for its Piscataway, NJ headquarters.

You will serve as a technical resource for day-to-day BC ERP operations, partnering with Accounting, Finance, Inventory, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and process improvements in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ERP support, implementation, or Business Central/NAV experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft D365 Business Central (BC) or Dynamics NAV environments.
• Experience supporting post-implementation ERP environments and end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for end users regarding Business Central support issues.
• Troubleshoot issues across Finance, Inventory, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Order Management modules.
• Diagnose root causes including GL impacts, inventory discrepancies, and transaction errors.
• Monitor ERP performance and escalate technical issues as needed.
• Ensure master data accuracy and transaction integrity across the ERP environment.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize core BC modules (AP/AR, Inventory, Banking, FA, Intercompany).
• Create and maintain SOPs, user guides, and technical documentation.
• Train new users and support ERP adoption and efficiency.

The Opportunity

FOCO is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Support Engineer to join our in-house IT team at our Piscataway, NJ headquarters.

This role will serve as a critical technical resource supporting day-to-day ERP operations across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Inventory, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure system reliability, data integrity, and continuous process improvement.

This is a hands-on role focused on ERP support, troubleshooting, optimization, training, and operational excellence within a fast-paced retail and distribution environment.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for end users regarding Business Central support issues
• Troubleshoot functional and operational issues across Finance, Inventory, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Order Management modules
• Diagnose root causes including GL impacts, inventory discrepancies, and transaction errors
• Monitor ERP performance and elevate technical issues when necessary
• Ensure master data accuracy and transaction integrity across the ERP environment
• Configure, maintain, and optimize core Business Central modules including:
• Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
• Inventory & Warehouse Management
• Banking, Fixed Assets, Intercompany & Consolidation
• Support workflow improvements, testing, configuration updates, and minor enhancements
• Manage role-based security permissions and user access controls
• Assist in evaluating licensing usage and system functionality improvements
• Create and maintain SOPs, user guides, and technical documentation
• Train new users and provide ongoing support to improve ERP adoption and efficiency
• Recommend workflow and reporting improvements based on operational feedback

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Support ERP upgrades, enhancement projects, and operational initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization and automation opportunities
• Stay informed on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central updates and industry best practices
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, operational workflows, and system performance

What You’ll Bring

Required Experience

• 3+ years of ERP support, implementation, or Business Central/NAV experience
• Experience supporting Microsoft D365 Business Central (BC) or Dynamics NAV environments
• Experience supporting post-implementation ERP environments and end-user support

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification (highly preferred)
• Experience within retail, distribution, wholesale, eCommerce, or consumer products environments
• Experience supporting warehouse or inventory-heavy operations
