Job summary

Flexton Inc. in Blue Ash, OH seeks an Level 3 Support / SRE / Operations Engineer to own incident response and drive production reliability. The role is on‑site with 24x7 on‑call requirements and involves travel to store pilots and go‑lives.

You will lead major incidents, perform RCA, monitor systems (Dynatrace), and collaborate with engineering, application, infrastructure, and business teams to implement reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with 24x7 rotating on‑call.
• Must work onsite in Blue Ash, OH.
• Approximately 50% travel for store pilots, go‑lives, and rollouts.
• SRE candidates welcome, but pure DevOps/CI‑CD without incident‑response exposure is not a fit.
• Development experience is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead major incidents, RCA, problem management, and post‑incident reviews.
• Troubleshoot production applications and infrastructure and manage issues to SLA.
• Monitor systems and resolve application/infrastructure failures.
• Partner with Engineering, Application, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
• Support testing, deployments, rollouts, and continuous reliability improvements.
• Maintain operational procedures, scripts, and documentation.

Level 3 Support / SRE / Operations Engineer

Location: Blue Ash, OH

5 days/week

Top 3 Skills:

• Major Incident Management – Proven experience leading P1/P2 incidents, running war rooms/bridges, and driving incidents end-to-end.
• RCA & Problem Management – Strong 5-Whys, Fishbone, timeline analysis, and experience driving corrective actions to closure.
• Production Troubleshooting – Hands‑on troubleshooting across applications, cloud/on‑prem infrastructure, POS/store systems, logs, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
