Job summary

ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. The Support Coordinator IV will perform vital customer service functions to support daily clinical operations and revenue integrity for the Total Rehab Outpatient department.

Responsibilities include registering patients in the EMR to ensure accurate billing, verifying insurance coverage, processing daily charges, reconciling charges, and handling at-point-of-service collections such as co-pays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree or previous experience in business or health care management.
• Mastery in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Knowledge of electronic medical record software’s like Epic and other rehab service line applications.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in the EMR to ensure accurate billing.
• Verify insurance coverage for rehab services.
