Job summary

Opportunity Partners in Minneapolis is seeking a Support Coach to help people with disabilities have fun, develop skills and gain independence in classroom and community settings. You may be cross trained to cover other Support Coach responsibilities during absences.

The Day Service locations you will work at can vary on a daily/weekly basis in Minnetonka. We are seeking someone who is agile, flexible and a collaborator.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in human services.
• High school degree or GED.
• Must have valid driver's license to drive our company vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily routines support to individuals.
• Plan and deliver creative activities.
• Support skill-building in workplace tasks, teamwork, and social interactions.
• Promote independence and well-being of each person.
• Collaborate with coworkers to plan community-based activities to places such as libraries, gardens, parks, bowling alleys, Feed My Starving Children and more.
• Complete daily documentation related to services, progress, and support needs
