Job summary

C & B Operations, LLC operates a Field Support Office in Sioux Falls, SD, seeking a customer support specialist to assist with in-bound and out-bound calls, emails, and texts. You will diagnose hardware and software issues on dealership products and provide timely solutions.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to train customers and staff during off-season periods, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office and common software
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
• Experience with customer service in a support role
• Able to travel to stores when needed
• Familiarity with agriculture is a plus
• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer issues by phone, email, or text promptly
• Diagnose hardware and software problems on dealership products and provide fixes
• Act as a point of contact for dealership staff to deliver accurate information
• Ensure customer interactions result in timely, effective solutions
• Place outbound calls to support department initiatives
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge
• Develop and deliver customer training during off-peak periods
• Meet contact center metrics for calls and resolutions
• Follow case management processes for problems and resolutions

C & B Operations, LLC has grown over 35 years to include thirty-eight John Deere dealerships in six states currently has an opening in our support center at our Field Support Office in Sioux Falls, SD. Our support center reps work to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing support for in-bound and out-bound customer calls, text messages, & emails for products and services offered throughout C & B's dealerships.

Essential Duties

• Provide effective solutions to customer needs in a timely manner via telephone, e-mail and other communication methods.
• Accurately diagnose problems with precision hardware and software on products offered through the dealership and provide solutions, if applicable.
• Serve as an internal resource for dealership employees to assist in providing customers with timely and accurate information.
• Take responsibility to ensure customer interactions always result in an effective and timely solution.
• Make outgoing calls in support of dealership department initiatives (Sales, Parts, Service, Integrated Solutions).
• Participate in ongoing training to continually develop technical knowledge and skill sets.
• Develop and deliver training to customers and employees during off-season periods.
• Meet requirements for contact center metrics (# of calls, problem resolution, etc.).
• Follow Case Management requirements (problem/resolution).

Qualifications

• Ability to use computer software such as Microsoft Office Suites, business systems, and internet applications
• Flexibility to travel to stores when required
• Ability to problem solve by using all available resources
• Outstanding customer service and communications skills
• Ag industry knowledge-preferred
• High school diploma or related required
• Related technical degree preferred
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
