Job summary

Clay Today is seeking a Support Care Professional III to join our healthcare team. The role focuses on taking vital signs, assisting with care plans, observing and reporting patient conditions, and aiding rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers.

Mentoring of junior staff may occur as part of responsibilities. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 2–3 years of experience, and a possible CNA designation.

Position: Support Care Professional III

General Summary

Third-level Support Care position accountable for taking vital signs, assisting with care plan activities, observing and reporting patient conditions and behaviors, and participating in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers. May mentor or direct the work of lower-level employees. Communicates with doctors, patients, and families, and educates patients on care. May provide transport to offsite appointments and application of restraints when necessary.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or high school equivalency 2-3 years of experience May require a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
