The Arc Oneida-Lewis, a pioneer in championing individuals with disabilities, invites you to step into the role of a Support Broker. The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter is seeking the addition of a Support Broker to our Development and Planning Department. In this position you will assist individuals with developing a self-directed budget and the day-to-day management of self-directed services. As a Support Broker you are providing support and training to individuals and their families regarding the ongoing decisions and tasks associated with self-direction. The extent of assistance provided is determined by the individual and is specified in the broker agreement signed by the individual and the Support Broker. You will provide broker services to a caseload of individuals with an approved Self Direction Budget not to exceed 60 people.
One year of experience working with people with disabilities is preferred. Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation. High school diploma or GED.
