Job summary

Soma is seeking a Support Associate in Scottsdale, AZ, to balance back-of-house inventory duties with front-of-house customer service on the sales floor.

You will manage shipments, stockroom organization, and timely merchandising while upholding brand standards and contributing to a positive team culture. The role requires flexible availability and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory processes: intake, storage, and ticket merchandise for replenishment on the sales floor.
• Keep the stockroom organized and easy to navigate.
• Merchandise new products on the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Restock products and update price changes.
• Maintain a visually appealing store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Assist store leaders with visual directives, floor sets, signage, and displays.
• Deliver a customer-focused experience aligned with our hospitality culture.
• Support teamwork and collaboration to maintain operations.

About the role
As a Support Associate, your role places you both in the back of the house and on the sales floor. You manage inventory processes that keep the customer experience running smoothly—processing shipments, moving products from the stockroom, and ensuring everything is where it needs to be. You’re proactive, pay close attention to detail, and keep the team informed about inventory needs. You also uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive team culture.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Manage inventory processes: properly intake, store, and ticket merchandise for smooth replenishment on the sales floor.
• Ensure the stockroom is neatly organized and easy to navigate.
• Ensure new products are merchandised and represented on the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Effectively execute product restocking and price changes.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Assist store leaders with executing visual directives, including updating floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, and signage placements.
• Deliver a customer-focused experience that reflects our culture of hospitality.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork and collaboration.
