Job summary

Tekprosupport is seeking a Supply Technician/Traffic Management professional in Gulfport, MS. The member will manage operations across multiple functions and supervise daily activities in Supply and Traffic Management.

Ideal candidates should have at least 4 years of experience with Air Force support in relevant fields and must possess an associate’s degree or higher. The position requires a SECRET security clearance and knowledge of applicable regulations.

Job description

TekPro Support Services, LLC. (TSS) is seeking a Supply Technician/Traffic Management

Member must have leadership skills to manage operation across multiple functions. Individual must have managerial skills to supervise daily activities of Supply and Traffic Management operations and personnel. Members must have working knowledge of all Material Management and Traffic Management functions and applicable regulations. Individual will work directly under the Material Coordinator and perform day-to-day Supply and Traffic Management operations.

• This position performs technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, Equipment Management, and for the effective and efficient management of all items included in the FBand FE accounts).
• Plan, coordinate, forecast and/or maintain in transit visibility of movement requirements using automated systems
• Ensure supply activities comply with published USAF guidance and policy.
• Plan and/or coordinate cargo movement requirements.
• Receive, identify, label and package items for shipment and storage
• Determine transportation feasibility of cargo movement requirements.
• Manage all equipment items maintained on Equipment Authorized/In-use Details (EAID) with the exception of vehicles. Research, prepare, and process inputs to add, change, or delete organizational records for host, satellite and geographically separated units. Process input transactions in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) database for equipment assets that are received, added, deleted or shipped.
• Conduct Annual Organizational Visits (AOV) on base organizations containing EAID assets and validate Capital Asset Reporting. Compile report and brief LRS/CC and organization commanders on results. Conduct quarterly Supply Block Training classes on Equipment Management, Bench Stock Management, Repair Cycle Management, Special Purpose Recoverable Authorized Maintenance (SPRAM)

Experience (required)

• Member must have at least 4 yrs of experience with Air Force support in Traffic Management or Material Management. Member must have working knowledge of processing classified assets and hazardous material and knowledgeable of all applicable regulations.

Experience (desired)

• Member must have HAZMAT certification or able to pass online course within 30 days of employment.

Required Education

• Member must possess an associate’s degree in Material Management or Traffic Management or higher is preferred.

Security Clearance

• Member must possess or have the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
