Job summary

TekPro Support Services, LLC is seeking a cleared Supply Technician to manage stock levels, perform inventories, and process requisitions. The role requires a Top Secret clearance and at least 3 years in supply functions, with experience in automated warehouse systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

You will support warehouse and office operations, lift up to 50 lbs, and collaborate with multiple internal teams.

Job description

TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) is seeking a cleared Supply Technician. This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work, including inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization related to depot, local, or other supply activities. The Supply Technician will apply working knowledge of methods, practices, and equipment used in receiving, storing, packing, and shipping materials and supplies, as well as methods for conducting inventories and maintaining inventory records.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee stock maintenance at or within prescribed levels and establish or adjust stock levels and reorder points using standard formulae and prescribed procedures.
• Conduct physical inventories and adjust and/or maintain inventory, stock, plant, or property account records.
• Receive and screen lists or other documents specifying supplies or materials needed for planned programs or work operations, and collate and assemble lists of equipment and parts needed for acquisition plans.
• Initiate, prepare, edit, and process requisitions to stock, commodity control, or other appropriate supply organizations.
• Search catalogs, records, or other data sources to obtain or correct stock numbers or find authorized substitutes for stock items.
• Contact customers, supply organizations, transportation units, and others to obtain material status information, follow up on urgently required items, and/or expedite delivery of material to work sites.
• Process documentation for stock item receipts, maintain items in a supply room or similar storage area, issue material to shop or work center personnel, maintain local stock records, reorder when stocks are low or at a specified reorder point, prepare standard reports such as variances between actual and estimated costs, and perform related stock receipt, storage, control, and issue functions for expendable and non-expendable items.
• Identify requirements and requisition, issue, or distribute office and administrative supplies, forms, publications, or other printed materials.
• Maintain an accurate accounting and reporting system for non-expendable property and perform standardized property management control processes.
• Operate computer terminals or personal computers to perform records searches, data input, and data corrections.

What You Bring:

Required:

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supply functions experience, either in the military services or in commercial applications.
• Experience with automated warehouse tracking systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory logging software.
• Ability to work in a warehouse/office workspace.
• Ability to lift objects under 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in group or team environments of over 5-10 members.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers.
• Team-oriented approach and ability to embrace the ideas of others for the sake of the company and client.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision and strategically prioritize multiple tasks in a proactive manner.
