American Management Group, LLC (AMG) is seeking a part-time Supply Technician to support a VA hospital's supply, warehouse, and inventory management operations. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, support logistics processes, and provide excellent customer service to government personnel and end users.
Responsibilities include barcode scanning, cycle counts, expiration tracking, and documentation in VISTA/GIP systems, with a focus on OSHA/HazMat safety and compliance.
The Supply TechnicianPART-TIME will support our government customer handling supply, warehouse, and inventory management operations in a VA hospital setting. This position plays a critical role inmaintaininginventory accuracy, supportinglogisticsoperations, and delivering high-quality customer service.
Supply Technicians perform a range of inventory control and distribution tasks using Government-approved systems and established workflows, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Perform barcode scanning, inventory tracking, andreplenishment ofstock to authorized levels.
Conduct routine and periodic inventory counts;identify, research, and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor productexpirationdates and support recall processesin accordance withGovernmentprocedures.
Implement proper stock rotation practices,
Provide delivery support, including transporting supplies todesignatedlocations.
Perform specialty cart checks and restocking asrequired.
Deliver responsive and professional customer service to Government personnel and end users.
Accurately document inventory transactions in systems such asVISTA/GIPand other Government-approved platforms (upon completion of required training and system access).
Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage areas in compliance with safety and operational standards.
Adhere to allOSHA,HAZMAT, and site-specific safety protocols.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply, warehouse, or inventory management.
Proficiencyand fluency in the English language (written and verbal).
Proficiencywith inventory management systems/software and workflows.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to follow detailed instructions andcomply withGovernment procedures and PWS requirements.
Experience supporting Federal orhealthcare logistics environments.
Familiarity with Government inventory systems such as VISTA/GIP.
Experience with barcode scanning technology and automated inventory systems.
Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.
Ability to push up to 100 lbs. using carts or similar conveyance.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
Ability tooperatematerial handling equipment, as applicable.
Mustcomply withall safety and HAZMAT handling requirements.
Must be able to obtain andmaintainrequired Governmentsystemaccess and training.
Ability to pass background checks and meet contract-specific requirements, as applicable.

$39.73 perhour
