One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-06 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. In the performance of investigations, inventory and location surveys, the incumbent is required to research, survey and/or count all types of material some which are heavy and bulky, stored on pallets, and some which are stored in high-level locations. Work may require operating MHE and handling, pushing, and lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds. Depending on the availability of equipment and depot location it may occasionally operate a bicycle, sedan or pick-up truck to move between work sites.
