Job summary

Tyonek Native Corp seeks an experienced aircraft supply professional to manage assets and materials in a Depot/Logistics setting. The role requires Navy A/C training, knowledge of NALCOMIS and related systems, and a solid record of supply accountability in accordance with governing manuals and procedures.

Candidates should have at least five years of aircraft supply assets management experience, be a US citizen, and able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of five years aircraft supply assets management experience.
  • Graduate of Navy A School or Navy C School or civilian equivalent training.
  • Knowledge of Navy Aviation Supply Systems, procedures, reports and forms; NALCOMIS and VIDS/MAFS entry and completion.
  • Knowledge of governing supply systems, program, policies, nomenclature, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

  • Reviews quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents.
  • Maintains stock locator system and administers document control procedures.
  • Ensures that inventories and location surveys are performed in accordance with established procedures.
  • Instructs warehouse personnel in loading, unloading, segregation, and storage best practices.
  • Reconciles activity records for monthly reporting and status reviews.

Job description

General Description

Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g. inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility.

Duties
  • Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs dues-ins and dues-outs accounting.
  • Corrects error and exception documents.
  • Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents.
  • Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, pelletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains stock locator system and administers document control procedures.
  • Repairs and constructs fiberboard or wooden containers.
  • Packs, crates, stencils, weighs, and bands equipment and supplies.
  • Constructs bins, shelving, and other storage aids.
  • Performs prescribed load list (PLL) and shop stock list (SSL) duties in manual and automated supply applications.
  • Ensures that inventories and location surveys are performed in accordance with established procedures.
  • Instructs warehouse personnel in loading, unloading, segregation, dunnage, palletizing, and selection of stock and storage areas
  • Performs property disposal storage functions
  • Ensures application of special procedures for handling, storing, packaging and shipping retrograde material.
  • Retrieves and analyzes history and activity files pertinent to system rejected documents.
  • Recommends additions and deletions to authorized stockage list.
  • Maintains accounting records of property disposal activity.
  • Reviews requests for major and controlled items.
  • Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.
  • Processes data inquiry and manager referred listings and cards.
  • Manages controlled, critical and reserve stocks and operational readiness floats.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of military technical manuals and able to qualify for government equipment operators license as required.
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five years aircraft supply equipment assets management experience
  • Must be a Graduate of a school equivalent to Navy A and/or C School or civilian experience/training.
  • Should be able to demonstrate maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in the following: Navy Aviation Supply Systems, procedures, report and forms; NALCOMIS and VIDS/MAFS entry and completion.
  • Have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, program, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
