Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Systems Analyst in the United States (Utah) to support supply systems, inventory, cataloging and property utilization. The role involves developing functional requirements, coordinating with specialists, and performing audits to ensure quality and compliance with established guidelines.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years in material/supply functions, and the ability to obtain a government driving permit.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent desirable.
• Three years of material/supply functions experience.
• Knowledgeable of governing supply systems, policies, nomenclature, and guidelines.
• Analytical ability to define problems and recommend actions based on data.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the systems analyst and technical advisor in development of functional requirements and policies for supply systems, programs, operations, and data processing methods.
• Performs special assignments such as studies and reports to resolve complex functional and systems problems.
• Coordinates with supervisors and technicians to develop internal operating procedures for automated information programs.
• Develops logic for local programs and defines input/output requirements.
• Reviews and analyzes statistical data to provide recommendations to improve operations.
• Prepares systems change requests and recommends modifications to ensure data meets mission requirements.
• Conducts audits by verifying inspection reports, performing physical inspections, sampling forms and documents, and reviewing correspondence.
