Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support its Utah operations on a not-to-exceed basis through 30 June 2027. The role includes maintaining storage plans, inventory control, and readiness to operate hand or powered lift equipment.

You will work to ensure accurate receiving, proper storage, and timely shipment preparation. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 6–12 months related experience, a valid driver's license, and may need to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months job related experience and/or training required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
• Ability to perform work in a safe manner to prevent loss or damage of equipment.
• Customer-oriented with ability to courteously and effectively work through difficult situations.
• Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials, examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage.
• Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Verify materials against receiving documents, note and report discrepancies; route materials to storage locations; store, stack or palletize material.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
