Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Transportation - 2nd shift - 1 pm to 9:30 pm for a technical supply management role at depots and local supply activities. You will handle inventory, storage, cataloging, and property utilization within established guidelines.

The position requires analytical ability, knowledge of governing supply systems, and the ability to develop procedures, perform audits, and support quality and safety programs. Travel and security clearance may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent desirable.
• Three (3) years of material/supply functions experience in military or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of governing supply systems, policies, nomenclature, and guidelines.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain government driving permit; travel possible.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the systems analyst and technical advisor in development of general and detailed functional requirements and policies for supply systems, programs, operations, and automated data processing methods.
• Performs special assignments such as studies and reports to resolve difficult and unprecedented functional and systems problems.
• Coordinates with supervisors, functional specialists, and technicians to furnish direction for internal operating procedures supporting automated information programs.
• Develops logic for local programs and provides functional logic prescribing input and output requirements.
• Reviews and analyzes statistical data providing recommendations/actions to improve operations.
• Prepares systems to change requests and recommends modifications to meet mission requirements.
• Conducts audits by verifying inspection reports, performing physical inspections, sampling forms and documents, conducting statistical analyses of Service Provider performance data, and reviewing correspondence, complaints, and other communications.
• Performs all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
