Job description

Summary

The Supply Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the area of work is completed in a timely manner and with high quality. This is done by working with others and coordinating the employees’ efforts, along with doing part of the work themselves. This individual will be working alongside warehouse workers and help to maintain the process flow, quality, and other operational and personnel processes.

Essential Functions
  • Assists the Warehouse Manager in planning and assigning tasks to warehouse employees in order to achieve objectives
  • Assists the Warehouse Manager in coordinating the planned and unplanned work flow of the warehouse
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehouse functions
  • Promote a safe work environment by ensuring that employees are properly trained on the warehouse equipment and use it appropriately
  • Ensure warehouse organization & stock rotation including cleanliness
  • Champion continuous improvement activities and culture
  • Communicate job performance standards to team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements related to product and service quality, environmental standards, food safety, and health and safety regulations.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment by preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, eliminating hazards, and reducing health and safety risks.
  • Compliance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)/General manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by unit management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience at supervisory level or above
  • Experience leading or supervising the day-to-day operations of warehouse services

  • Ability to lift items/packages (up to 35 lbs. / 15 kg)
  • Well organized, rigorous and methodical but enough adaptability to local constraints
