Job summary
AMD is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Austin to own production supply modeling for Server NPI products. You’ll influence cross-functional teams across engineering, business units, contract manufacturers and logistics, using advanced planning and analytics to ensure continuity and optimal stock levels in a fast-paced AI-driven market.
You will lead the development of robust planning tools, drive weekly capacity alignment, and communicate insights to executives.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in supply chain, capacity planning and product planning.
- Industry exposure to semiconductor/electronics (PCBA) manufacturing.
- Advanced analytics with Excel, macros, Power BI and SQL.
- Familiarity with SAP and Kinaxis/Rapid Response is a plus.
- Collaborates effectively across all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain production supply plans and coordinates execution.
- Forecast supplies across suppliers with cross-functional collaboration.
- Match customer demand within weekly modeled capacity as demand changes.
- Identify required demand mix for factory planners to execute.
- Collaborate to plan and execute target revenue attainment.
- Develop risk management strategies for disruptions and continuity.
- Influence weekly supply commitments and manage escalations.
- Drive tooling to manage BOMs and inventory flows.
- Lead continuous improvement and change-management initiatives.
