Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Supply Planning Manager in Brookfield, WI to lead a team of planning analysts and drive end-to-end supply planning. You will own Oracle ERP processes, mentor staff, and collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, distribution, and operations to ensure optimal service levels.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, KPI ownership (fill rate, inventory turns), and continuous improvement of planning processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supply planning or related roles, with 2+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive KPIs: fill rate, inventory turns, and obsolete inventory.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with suppliers, distribution, demand planning, and operations.
• Lead monthly S&OP reporting and present risks and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement across supply planning, data accuracy, and inventory optimization.
• Prioritize workload balancing short-term and long-term initiatives.
• Support new product introductions, transitions, and end-of-life planning with robust analysis.
• Act as SME in supply planning tools and processes.

The Supply Planning Manager is a leadership position, combining strategic leadership with hands‑on decision‑making responsibilities. You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Supply Planning Analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide actionable feedback, and develop individual and team capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
• Own and scale supply planning processes and systems (Oracle ERP), driving consistency, data integrity, and team adoption.
• Anticipate and prioritize business partner needs, proactively solving issues before they escalated.
• Own and drive performance against key supply chain KPIs (e.g. fill rate, inventory turns, excess/obsolete inventory), ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with suppliers, distribution, demand planning, and operations to proactively identify and resolve constraints and risks.
• Lead monthly S&OP reporting and influence cross-functional and leadership decisions by presenting risks, trade-offs, and actional recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply planning, including process automation, data accuracy, and inventory optimization.
• Prioritize team workload and resources to balance short-term execution with long-term strategic initiatives.
• Support new product introductions, product transitions, and end-of-life planning with robust supply and demand analysis.
• Act as subject matter expert in supply planning tools and processes, helping elevate team capabilities and system utilization.

Tools You’ll Bring With You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply planning or related supply chain roles with:
• At least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven experience with Supply Chain planning tools, software, and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
• Demonstrates a high level of ownership, urgency, and accountability while fostering a collaborative, candid, and high-performance team environment.
• A collaborative mindset, working closely with internal teams and global suppliers.
