Job summary

Avnet is seeking a Material Planner in Chandler, AZ to plan, schedule and coordinate material flow to ensure on-time delivery. You will determine material needs, work with operations, purchasing, engineering and quality to meet production goals, and manage BOMs in ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials planning.
• ERP experience (SAP and Kinaxis) preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate material movement; release work orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Determine material needs and stock availability.
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, engineering and quality to meet production goals.
• Maintain bills of materials and part numbers in ERP systems.
