Job summary

Avnet is seeking a supply chain professional to enable strategic initiatives and ensure customer service levels across the organization. The role collaborates with Sales and Supplier Management to forecast, plan, and buy to forecast, applying solid MRPs and inventory discipline.

The position requires 3+ years in supply chain, a Bachelor's degree, and strong analytical and negotiation skills to optimize profitability and partner satisfaction across multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in supply chain or logistics.
• Experience with forecasting and inventory management.
• Knowledge of MRP concepts.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer forecasts and trends using MRP concepts with Sales and customers.
• Prepare forecast models and liaise with stakeholders to assess forecasting feasibility.
• Apply inventory management discipline to assess levels and aging.
• Participate in program setup and changes (EOL, part profiles, transitions).
• Negotiate with suppliers on channel/distributor policy and drive improved supply chains that boost profitability.
