Epitec is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner/Buyer in Sunnyvale, CA for a hybrid, short-term contract (W2). The role emphasizes forecasting, inventory optimization, and strategic purchasing within a global supply chain environment.

The ideal candidate will manage weekly supply and demand plans, analyze metrics, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet service levels and drive continuous improvement. The position offers exposure to ERP systems and strategic planning initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in forecasting, planning, purchasing, inventory management, or related supply chain functions.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar planning platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute supply plans to support customer demand while optimizing inventory investment.
• Analyze forecasts, inventory positions, backlog, fill rates, and forecast accuracy metrics.
• Create and manage weekly supply and demand plans to meet service level objectives.
• Execute purchasing activities, including purchase order creation, maintenance, supplier follow-up, and delivery tracking.
• Monitor and improve key supply chain performance metrics, including inventory turns, fill rates, and forecast accuracy.
• Conduct scenario modeling and what-if analyses to balance material and capacity constraints.
• Maintain ERP planning data and support engineering change processes related to product lifecycle management.
• Resolve inventory shortages, supply gaps, and backlog issues while coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Partner with operations, procurement, planning, engineering, and IT teams to support business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on supply chain processes and systems.
• Lead or support cross-functional supply chain projects and communicate project timelines, risks, and impacts.

Required Qualifications

• Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing critical supply chain metrics and delivering measurable results.
• Experience working within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar planning platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work comfortably with large datasets, forecasting models, and inventory analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS certification.
• Master's degree or MBA.
• Experience supporting consumer products, electronics, technology, or service supply chains.
• Experience leading projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
