Job summary

Teleflex, Morrisville, NC, is seeking a Supply Planner to manage supply from forecast to plant output, ensuring alignment with commercial and financial plans. You will collaborate with 3PFG sites, translate objectives into executable plans, and develop an adaptive supply fulfillment model that scales with future needs.

You will work with global procurement, supplier quality, demand planning, and logistics teams to optimize material flow and maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• APICS CSCP is desirable.
• ERP/Planning Systems knowledge.
• Understanding of manufacturing at 3PFG plants and service levels impact.
• Experience in Global Supply Chain Networks and planning from 3PFG to DCs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define analytical problems related to demand and supply.
• Minimize back orders and maintain inventory levels to meet service targets.
• Coordinate with 3PFG plant contacts for supply review cycles.
• Manage exceptional demand/sales opportunities with 3PFG plants to maximize revenue.
• Communicate supply plans with SBUs/Regions and plan continuity of supply.
• Proactively manage constraints due to quality, regulatory, or technical issues.
• Analyze global material flow from plants to distribution centers to optimize supply chain.
• Lead 3PFG supplier meetings to address demand fulfilment constraints.
• Maintain ERP data: orders, reliable supply dates, and supplier communications.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Procurement, the Supply Planner will be responsible for planning, managing and controlling the supply of product from forecast/demand to 3PFG plant output in support of commercial, financial and operational plans. The incumbent will work with Business Unit teams in translating commercial objectives as they relate to product supply into executable plans for our 3PFG sites. The Supply Planner will work with our 3PFG sites in developing an adaptive and scalable supply fulfilment model which anticipates future business requirements

Principal Responsibilities

• Identify and define analytical problems related to RWE, leveraging domain knowledge and data science techniques to develop scalable, data-driven solutions.
• Manage Demand and Supply to minimize back orders, position Inventories at agreed levels and reach targeted customer service Levels.
• Be part of the S&SOP monthly cycle and, together with 3PFG plant contacts, drive S&SOP Supply review
• Work with the Demand Planning & Customer Service teams: manage exceptional demand/sales opportunities with the 3PFG plants to max revenues.
• Communicate with the SBU's/Regions on supply issues and 3PFG manufacturing plans.
• Ensure that potential constraints to supply are proactively managed to ensure continuity of supply.
• Anticipate supply constraints resulting from quality, regulatory, technical, or other issues.
• Analyse these constraints and identify innovative solutions to quickly resolve same.
• Drive an inclusive approach to problem solving and engaging widely within the business.
• Work with the wider planning team, analyse global material flow - particularly from 3PFG plants to distribution centres/customers to optimize the supply chain.
• First escalation level for the 3PFG supplier when it comes to supply constraints.
• Day-to-day activities in the ERP system from order placement at suppliers to maintenance of reliable supply dates.
• Lead and participate 3PFG supplier meetings to address Demand Fulfilment constraint.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 year's experience in Supply Planning or related discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related technical field, APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is also desirable.
• ERP / Planning Systems knowledge
• Understanding of manufacturing at 3PFG plants and how service levels are impacted by differing elements of the process.
• Experience in Global Supply Chain Networks and Supply Process ex 3PFG plants to DC's
