Job summary

FBSPL in Massachusetts is seeking a Global Supply Manager to lead sourcing strategy for high-value, technically complex categories essential to production.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and senior leadership to negotiate long-term supply agreements, manage supplier risk, and drive improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.

This role requires 7+ years in strategic sourcing within global manufacturing and a Bachelor’s degree (MBA or technical degree preferred).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience managing strategic suppliers in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and long-term supply arrangements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies, cost roadmaps, and supplier plans.
  • Lead complex negotiations covering pricing, capacity, lead times, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Manage strategic and executive-level supplier relationships.
  • Drive improvements in supplier quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and performance.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to translate technical and production requirements into sourcing strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier, capacity, cost, and continuity risks.
  • Lead cross-functional supplier initiatives and mentor junior Global Supply Managers.

Role Overview

The Global Supply Manager will lead sourcing strategy and strategic supplier management for high-value, technically complex categories critical to production. This role partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and senior leadership to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial agreements, strengthen supplier relationships, and manage supply-chain risks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in a startup, high-growth, or scaling manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other highly regulated industries.
