Job summary

Kelly is hiring a Supply Management Planner in Fuquay-Varina, NC, to oversee supplier relationships for multiple commodities and support factory operations. The role includes planning activities, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will gather cost data, participate in negotiations, and manage inventory while collaborating with stakeholders and teams to drive efficiency. Onsite with Friday remote options, typical daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary non-tertiary education required.
• Basic experience with office or operational systems (4–6 months preferred).
• Strong planning, organizational, data collection and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with procurement process management, costing, budgeting, and reporting.
• Eager to learn and stay updated on technology, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day performance and relationships with suppliers for several commodities to support factory operations.
• Execute planning activities within a defined framework and respond to supplier incidents with analysis and feedback.
• Collect and collate information on cost drivers, market dynamics, and alternative suppliers for decisions.
• Review operations and support new ideas for continuous improvement.
• Gather and report contract performance data for negotiations or renegotiations.
• Manage inventory for the site and support stakeholder engagement through meetings and events.
• Develop capabilities with formal and informal training and ongoing education.

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour

Shift: 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Thursday onsite, remote available on Friday
