Job summary

PTi is seeking a logistics professional to support daily operations and planning to optimize the flow of supplies from initial procurement to final disposition.

You will fulfill material requirements, use MRP data and schedules, coordinate with procurement, warehouse and distribution, monitor operations, expedite material availability, and track inventory with reports and dashboards. Must follow government, contract, and company policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in supply.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance or CAC within 30 days if required.
• Military experience and Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and scheduling business operations.
• Uses material requirements plans, production schedules, and inventory data to maintain the required flow of materials.
• Coordinates with procurement, warehouse, and distribution operations to manage and monitor workflows crucial to the flow of materials.
• Monitors operations, troubleshoots operational roadblocks, and expedites material availability.
• Tracks and analyzes inventory levels and develops reports, dashboards, and other resources to facilitate material management processes.
• Adhere to government, contract, and company policies and procedures.
• Ability to use e-mail to receive and disseminate workload tasks and information.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract Compliance Plan, and workload requirements, etc.
• May include process or workflow creating, updating, communicating changes, training and performance reporting, and compliance.
• Supports PTi's Safety, Environmental, and Security Programs, and other company certifications and initiatives responsible for Core and Support Processes within the Quality Management Systems.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• The employee may be required to frequently handle equipment/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds individually and occasionally items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to exert moderate physical effort in the loading, unloading, and arranging of equipment/supplies as applicable to position.
• Can work inside and/or outside in dirty and dusty environments, and occasionally be exposed to hot, cold, damp and drafty weather conditions while handling equipment/supplies.
• Be able to perform work on hard or uneven surfaces.

Qualifications

Skills

• Must demonstrate the ability to effectively read and write in English, and comprehend written instructions, perform common mathematical tasks, and communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail and excellent follow up skills.

Certificate, License, Registration, Etc.

• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance applicable to the position and/or military Common Access Card (CAC) within 30 days if required.
• Valid US driver's license
