Job summary

Primetech LLC in Albany, GA is seeking an experienced Supply Chain/Materials Planner to optimize the flow of supplies from procurement to disposition.

You will coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and distribution; manage inventory, generate reports, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements include five years of supply experience, a Bachelor's degree, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply.
• Must demonstrate ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively.
• Bachelor's degree.
• US Citizen; must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance applicable to the position and/or CAC within 30 days if required.
• Valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and scheduling business operations.
• Uses material requirements plans, production schedules, and inventory data to maintain the required flow of materials.
• Coordinates with procurement, warehouse, and distribution operations to manage and monitor workflows crucial to the flow of materials.
• Monitors operations, troubleshoots operational roadblocks and expedites material availability.
• Tracks and analyzes inventory levels and develops reports, dashboards, and other resources to facilitate material management processes.
• Adhere to government, contract, and company policies and procedures.
• Ability to use e-mail to receive and disseminate workload tasks and information.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned in association with the established Management and Contract Compliance Plan, workload requirements, etc.
• Supports PTi's Safety, Environmental, and Security Programs, and other company certifications and initiatives responsible for Core and Support Processes within the Quality Management Systems.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• The employee may be required to frequently handle equipment/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds individually and occasionally items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to exert moderate physical effort in the loading, unloading, and arranging of equipment/supplies as applicable to the position.
• Can work inside and/or outside in dirty and dusty environments, and occasionally be exposed to hot, cold, damp, and drafty weather conditions while handling equipment/supplies.
• Be able to perform work on hard or uneven surfaces.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply

• Must demonstrate the ability to effectively read and write in English, comprehend written instructions, perform common mathematical tasks, and communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.

Certificate, License, Registration, Etc.
