Road Ranger is seeking a Supply & Logistics Coordinator to support daily fuel supply, logistics, inventory management, reporting, and cost analysis for Road Ranger Travel Centers and wholesale customers.

You will work closely with suppliers, terminals, and internal teams to ensure reliable supply, accurate reporting, and cost-effective fuel sourcing, including ERP/PDI system accuracy and executive reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in supply chain, logistics, fuel supply, or related operations.
  • Experience with ERP, PDI, inventory systems or fuel management platforms preferred.

Supply & Logistics Coordinator

Reports to: Vice President of Fuels

Department: Fuels / Supply & Logistics

Position Summary

The Supply & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily fuel supply, logistics, inventory management, reporting, and cost analysis for Road Ranger Travel Centers and potential wholesale customers. This role works closely with suppliers, terminals, common carriers, third-party logistics providers, internal operations, and the Vice President of Fuels to ensure reliable supply, accurate reporting, efficient deliveries, and cost-effective fuel sourcing. The position also supports ERP/PDI system accuracy, supplier pricing analysis, nightly supply sourcing in a team rotation, executive reporting, and special projects as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Reconcile, analyze, and report daily fuel activity for Road Ranger Travel Centers.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly fuel accounting, inventory, logistics, and cost reports.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and monitor fuel deliveries for Road Ranger locations and wholesale customers.
  • Manage communication and performance coordination with suppliers, terminals, common carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Reconcile and proof carrier freight charges for payment processing documenting deductions due to inaccurate billing and track carrier performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, demand trends, and supply availability to support timely fuel ordering and delivery execution.
  • Coordinate and secure fuel supply at various terminals.
  • Participate in nightly supply sourcing as part of a Monday through Friday team rotation.
  • Assist the Vice President of Fuels with product sourcing, supplier pricing analysis, fuel cost reporting, and supply strategy.
  • Support ERP/PDI system setup, improvements, data entry, and ongoing system accuracy.
  • Prepare analytics, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations related to fuel cost, inventory, supplier pricing, logistics performance, and operational activity.
  • Support executive-level and board-level reporting and presentations as needed.
  • Perform special projects and other departmental duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company pricing, supply, logistics, and financial information.
Schedule Requirements

Monday through Friday, in-office, from 1pm to 10p.m. with some remote working from home optionality. This position also requires participation in nightly supply sourcing rotation. Weekend rotation managing Road Ranger fuels inventory, delivery forecasting, order creation and delivery amendments, and on call for supply issues and common carrier support.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, fuel supply, or related operations.
  • Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, reconciliation, and business analysis in a corporate environment preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, PDI, inventory systems, or fuel management platforms preferred.

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong PowerPoint slide creation skills, including executive-level and board-level presentation development.
  • Strong data analytics skills, including excel analysis, Power BI, dashboards, reporting, and trend analysis.
  • Comfortable presenting analytics, findings, and recommendations to leadership and board-level audiences.
  • Proficient creating, utilizing, analyzing spread sheets, pivot tables V look up, databases, reporting tools, and presentation software effectively.
  • Flexible, process-oriented, and able to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fuel supply, petroleum, terminal, or common carrier logistics experience.
  • Experience with PDI or other fuel accounting/inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of fuel pricing, rack pricing, freight costs, inventory levels, and delivery scheduling.
  • Experience supporting wholesale fuel customers or multi-site retail fuel operations.
Position Objective

The Supply & Logistics Coordinator supports reliable fuel supply, accurate inventory levels, efficient logistics execution, supplier and carrier coordination, and cost-effective fuel operations across Road Ranger Travel Centers and wholesale fuel customers.
