Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a Supply Inventory Technician IV to lead and direct supply chain activities at the facility. The role covers receiving, distributing, replenishment and inventory management, plus maintaining storeroom safety stock levels and all stocking locations.

The position requires at least a high school diploma and 1–2 years in healthcare or supply chain, with preferred associate or bachelor’s degrees. On-site work with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or similar field Preferred.
• One to two years of Healthcare/Supply Chain experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the on-site processing, inventory and delivery of all orders.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, co-team leaders, stock clerks and the management team.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates comprehensive job knowledge.
• Prepare schedule for the on-site operations.
• Attends in-service presentations and completes mandatory education weeks, including infection control, patient safety, quality improvements, MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge of occurrence reporting systems and uses the system to report potential patient safety issues.
• Process all lost charge reports and resolves discrepancies.
• Is authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Supply Technician IV is responsible for leading, implementing, measuring, and directing all supply chain activities within a facility. Responsible for overseeing receiving, distributing, replenishment, and inventory management of all supplies within the facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining all Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock as well as all other stockinglocations.
