Join Our Team as a Supply and Distribution Associate!

Position and Shift Details

• Per Diem (no benefits)
• Pay range: $17.40 - $24.83 per hour

Position Summary

Monitors departmental supplies and orders appropriately. Prepares work orders and maintains department files. Assists in maintaining control of inventory products by verifying, receiving, distributing, and stocking items. Utilizes computer systems to post, receive, and update product information. Maintains warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. Assists management with perpetual inventories through cycle counts and physical inventories. May be required to drive a Guthrie vehicle (only at specific locations).

Education, License & Certification

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required (RPH Sayre location only).

Experience

• On-the-job training provided to attain competency.

Essential Functions

1. Monitors departmental supplies and places orders to maintain appropriate stock levels.
2. Maintains department filing systems.
3. Verifies contents of delivered inventory and receives inventory appropriately in the MMIS system. Performs inventory updates and adjustments in the MMIS system.
4. Restocks material management and direct inventory locations. Monitors expiration dates in par locations.
5. Performs physical inventories and cycle counts and assists with inventory audits.
6. Generates stock level reports and works with the Supervisor to identify stock issues and improvement opportunities.
7. Participates in the Performance Improvement Program by:
8. Identifying areas where Performance Improvement can be applied.
9. Collecting and organizing performance measurement data.
10. Participating on Performance Improvement teams.
11. Maintains accurate information for requisitions and inventory counts. Communicates discrepancies and inventory issues to management.
12. Restocks inventory in a timely manner.
13. Performs shipping functions utilizing FedEx, UPS, U.S. Mail, or common carriers.

Other Duties

1. Uses effective time management, flexibility, and priority setting to maintain normal department functions in both supervised and unsupervised environments.
2. Works closely with team members and adapts to change to improve services.
3. Answers phones promptly, identifies self, and records accurate information.
4. Participates in orientation and on-the-job training of new employees and serves as a role model for other associates. Represents The Guthrie Clinic in a professional and courteous manner to coworkers, visitors, and others.
5. Attends and participates in staff meetings.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
