Job summary

DSJ Global in Whippany, NJ, is looking for a Demand & Material Planner to join our onsite Supply Chain team. You will manage demand requirements, production schedules, material availability, and inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery and uphold customer commitments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of planning experience, with ERP/MRP proficiency. You will help prevent shortages, optimize inventory, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced aerospace

A growing aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Demand & Material Planner to join its expanding Supply Chain team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career planning professional to gain exposure to a complex manufacturing environment while working alongside Procurement, Operations, Engineering, and Production teams.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing demand requirements, production schedules, material availability, and inventory levels to ensure products are delivered on time and customer commitments are met. You'll play a key role in supporting production, preventing shortages, and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, materials planning, production scheduling, or supply chain planning
• ERP/MRP system experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace, aviation, or defense manufacturing experience
• Experience supporting military or government contracts
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
• Familiarity with highly regulated manufacturing environments
